I understand that hiring a nanny is quite the undertaking--between the writing a job description, the endless phone calls and emails, the interviews, the reference checking, contract negotiations and the added stress of trying to make sure someone is "just right" for your family, the whole process can be very time-consuming and frustrating if you have to go it alone. Westside Nanny is here to help take the headache out of finding a great nanny!

Your Westside Nanny journey will look something like this:

1. You'll Reach Out.

The first step you'll take is to fill out a quick, no-obligation Family Intake Form to tell us a little about yourself and your specific needs. You'll be contacted within 48 hours to find out more about your needs and answer any questions you may have. I'll also ask you questions to get a feel for your family's unique needs and personality, then use this information to build your 'nanny wishist' and match you with the most qualified candidates hand-selected specifically for your family.

2. You'll Get Registered.

Should you decide to move forward in working with Westside Nanny, you'll complete a Family/Agency Agreement and submit a deposit of $500 to complete your registration. Your deposit is non-refundable but will be applied toward your final placement fee upon hire.

3. Kick Back and Relax! I've got this.

Your candidate search will be live within 48 hours of your complete registration and you can expect to start receiving candidate profiles within 2-3 weeks (often sooner!). I narrow down a wide field of applicants and select the few who are the best fits for your family's needs. You can expect to receive anywhere from 2-5 recommendations, all of whom will have been vetted for your family through my thorough screening process!

4. You'll Meet Your Matches.

You'll review the profiles of the candidates I've recommended to you and select the ones you'd like to interview. As soon as you say the word, I'll connect you with your chosen candidates via email and you'll be able to set up a time to interview together. Some families click with and hire the first nanny they meet--others interview multiple candidates before making a final decision. You'll have as much time as you'd like to review and interview candidates, though it's important to remember that nannies are job-seeking too and may have deadlines of their own. If you find that the initial candidates we recommend for you aren't what you're looking for, there is no charge to extend your search and we will continue to recruit highly qualified candidates until you've found the one who is just right for your family.

5. You'll Make it Official!

When you're ready, I'll assist you with extending an offer, negotiate your terms, provide you with an agreement template and guide you through putting your agreement in writing (required for all permanent placements),  and advise you on how to make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved.

But Wait, There's More!

My commitment to your family doesn't end at "you're hired!". I am dedicated to the success of your placement and support you and your nanny every step of the way. Whether you need help addressing a sensitive issue with your nanny, working out some employment kinks, or if you are just looking for some creative ideas to keep the kids entertained on a rainy day, I'm here to help.
