Seattle/Shoreline: Compassionate, Playful Nanny for 5 Month Old Boy

**This family is currently located in Shoreline, but plans to relocate to central Seattle sometime within the next 3-6 months**

Westside Nanny's newest clients are seeking full-time care for their 5 month old baby boy beginning in earlyJanuary 2020. Their primary needs total approximately 40-45 hours per week, Monday - Friday with flexible timing (8-9 hours/day sometime between 7:00am - 5:30pm).

Their son is a happy, healthy, typically developing baby boy. He is still learning his sleep schedule, so a nanny with some experience developing and maintaining healthy sleep habits would be nice!  They also have a three-year-old son who attends full-time preschool and whom the nanny will only be responsible for on occasional days when he is not at school (rate will be increased on these days). Mom and dad describe their ideal match as patient, flexible, responsible, present, engaged and playful.  They should have plenty of infant experience, as well as some experience caring for older children as well. Mom and dad are active, involved parents who really value open communication and are super excited to welcome the right nanny into their family; they look forward to truly partnering with her in the care of their children and growing together for several years!

This position does not require driving with the children, but all candidates should have reliable transportation to and from the family's home. They also have a lovable 6-year-old golden doodle so their nanny should be dog-friendly, but the nanny is not expected to care for the dog.

This position offers a rate of $22-26/hour DOE + overtime, guaranteed hours, paid accrued time off, paid holidays, and accrued sick time. Apply today!

Position Filled: Full-Time Nanny for Active Baby Boy

Position Filled: Congratulations Danielle!

Our newest Eastside clients are in search of full-time care for their darling 6-month old son at their home in BELLEVUE beginning this Fall. The start date is flexible for the right fit, but the closer to the first week of October the better! They need care Monday-Friday from 9am-5:30pm for a total of 42.5 hours per week, though flexibility to occasionally work later or offer an evening date night would be much appreciated!

Their baby boy is chill, smiley and healthy! He loves to go for walks, be read to, and just observe the world around him. He is developing a consistent sleep/nap schedule and is about to start on solid foods, so a nanny who can help support these and other important transitions will be a big help to this family!  Their ideal match will have solid infant experience, a loving approach to childcare and a genuine interest in their son's development. Their nanny can look forward to getting out of the house and exposing their son to dynamic experiences, so it's important to them that he or she be an active, engaged caregiver! He or she should be mature, easy going, loving, and interested in growing with their family for many years; since they hope to have a second child someday, they would love to connect with a nanny who would be open to caring for multiple children at some point in the future.

Because this position will require some local driving, a safe vehicle and responsible driving history are a must.

This family is pleased to offer a rate of $20-23/hour plus guaranteed hours, overtime, accrued sick time and generous paid time off. They are ready to interview immediately and look forward to welcoming a nanny into their family as soon as they connect with the right fit! Apply today!

Position Filled: 2 Days/Week Special Needs Nanny for 2 Boys

Position Filled: Congratulatuons Katie!

A busy mama in North Seattle is seeking part-time care for her two boys, ages 7 and 13. Her ideal schedule would be Sundays 1pm-7pm and Mondays 2:45-7pm (10.25 hours/week), although she could switch Sunday for Wednesdays 1:30-7pm (9.75 hours/week).

Her sons are both happy, sweet and energetic boys who enjoy their babysitters! They are both on the autism spectrum; Her 7-year old is non-verbal but highly intelligent, and her 13 year old is verbal but cognitively delayed. Because of this, special needs experience is required and a nanny who has a big heart for special kiddos is a must! Mom describes her ideal nanny match as cheerful, compassionate, flexible, inclusive, and proactive. He or she should prioritize communication, and should be enthusiastic about engaging the boys in play. Her boys thrive off of structure and predictable routine, and they love sensory activities and physical movement; a nanny who can maintain their routine while still incorporating fun development activities will be the best fit for them! They've enjoyed great relationships with past nannies and are excited to connect with the right person, so please be willing to commit to at least one year.

A reliable kid-friendly vehicle is required for Sunday outings. This family does have a sweet doodle dog as well, so all candidates must be comfortable with friendly pooches!

Pay will be $25/hour DOE, and their family is happy to guarantee the scheduled hours each week. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced nanny or teacher to supplement another position!

Position Filled: Part-Time Nanny for the Sweetest 9-Month-Old Boy

Position Filled: Congratulations Kristy!

Our newest Eastside clients are in need of part-time care for their darling baby boy at their home in Issaquah beginning as soon as they find the right fit. Their needs are fairly flexible, but ideally they'd like coverage 3 consecutive days per week from 7:30/8am until 5pm. They are happy to guarantee 25-30 hours per week and would consider adding in a 4th day for the right candidate!

Mom and dad are low-key, warm and easy to communicate with; they're super excited about welcoming a nanny into their family! Their son is a happy, healthy, sweet little guy who loves to crawl and explore his world. He also has a 4 year old big sister, but she attends full-time preK and their nanny would only ever be responsible for her care on days when she's not at school (higher rate would apply for these days). They'd like to find a nanny who will enjoy taking him on walks and outings, to classes, or just getting down on the floor to play with their little guy so plenty of energy is a must! Someone who is loving and easy going, with great judgement and plenty of confidence caring for a busy baby boy will be the best fit for this family. They hope that their nanny will grow to feel like a valued member of their family, and are excited to partner with her for at least one year. This family does have a small senior dog (a maltese-yorkie) who sleeps most of the day, but all candidates should be comfortable with small dogs. A driver's license and reliable transportation is required for outings!

This position pays $17-20/hr DOE and offers guaranteed hours, sick time, paid holidays and paid time off! Apply today!

*This family is open to the possibility of a nanny share, and would potentially consider a nanny who has her own accompanying child of similar age to their son*

POSITION FILLED: Flexible Full-TIme Nanny for Toddler Girl

Position Filled: Congratulations Katie! :)

position filled: 32-40 HRS LOVING CARE needed for infant and preschooler

position Filled: Congratulations Annabelle!

My clients in East BALLARD are in need of FULL-time loving care for their two children beginning October 1st! Their core needs are for Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8am-6pm for a total of 32-40 hours per week.

Their son is 8.5 months old and is a sweet, smiley little guy who loves to wiggle, and adores his big sister. He's transitioning from breastmilk to solid foods and loving every minute! Their daughter, who will turn 3 later this year, loves books, puzzles, art and bubbles. She will be attending preschool in the mornings from 8:45-12:45, so their nanny will get plenty of one-on-one baby snuggles before having both kiddos in the afternoons. This position is child-focused, and only required child-related light housekeeping in addition to the care of the children; kid's laundry, dishes and related tidying are part of the job expectations.

The right person for this position will be reliable, punctual, mature, energetic, engaging, fun-loving, and creative. This family hopes to work with a nanny who will take initiative on planing outings and projects, who is organized and has excellent time management, and who is a good communicator--their ideal match will have a warm disposition but the ability to be firm when needed. Their nanny should have experience caring for an infant and a toddler at the same time; experience working in a daycare/preschool setting, or raising their own children would be a plus! They hope to find a nanny who shares their family's core values of love, humor and respect.

Mom works from home in a designated and private home office, so all applicants need to be comfortable with this arrangement. She may occasionally interact with the children, but she is committed to excellent communication and boundaries!

They live in a very walkable part of East Ballard, and their daughter's preschool is within walking distance of their home, so a car is not required though it would certainly be a convenient bonus. This family also has a shy indoor cat, so all applicants must be kitty-friendly!

This family is excited to welcome a nanny into their lives and looks forward to connecting with their dream match as soon as possible! They're pleased to offer $22-27/hour DOE + paid time off, paid holidays, and accrued sick time. Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: Active Afternoon Nanny for 3 Busy Girls

Position Filled: Congratulations Aliyah!

My South End clients are seeking a loving, active afternoon nanny for their three girls (ages 3, 8, & 11). Their scheduling needs are 12:30-6:30 M-F during the school year, and 8:30-6:30 during the summers, though they guarantee a minimum of 30 hours every week year round even when the family is on vacation (approx. 4 weeks per year)!

Their nanny will be responsible for school pickups, driving to activities and appointments, after-school snack and simple dinner prep, homework supervision and a few light kid-related household tasks such as their laundry and dishes. Their ideal match will be punctual, active, upbeat and energetic, and they'd like a nanny who will keep the girls engaged without the use of screen time. She'd be mature yet playful, able to be firm and calm when the situation calls for it but equally comfortable being totally silly too! She should also be skilled at resolving the little conflicts that can pop up between three sisters :) A nanny who speaks a second language would also be a nice plus, but is not a requirement.

This position requires driving, so their nanny must have a reliable, kid-friendly vehicle and full-coverage insurance. Since the family has a cat and a small dog, all candidates should be ok with pets in the home as well.

Start date is ASAP, but can be flexible for the right fit! Pay will be $20/hour with a 30 hour weekly guarantee, overtime pay, accrued sick time, and paid holidays.

Position Filled: Full time infant nanny needed for 4-month old

Position Filled: Congratulations Gail!

My clients in WEST SEATTLE are in search of a loving, responsible and experienced caregiver for their infant son beginning September 16th. Their scheduling needs are Monday-Friday from roughly 8am-5pm, though they do have the ability to flex the start/end times slightly for the right candidate! They plan to enroll their son in daycare in summer of 2020, so they are hoping to find a nanny who is comfortable with a commitment through June.

Their son is a growing, healthy, typically developing newborn boy. Like most babies, he is having a harder time sleeping at night so a nanny who has experience with helping families develop and maintain healthy sleep patterns would be greatly appreciated by these tired new parents!

Mom and dad describe their ideal nanny match as someone who simply loves caring for babies. They're excited to find a nanny who has solid professional infant care experience and who is very confident with all of the responsibilities of daily newborn care. She should be a mature, loving, and reliable person who will actively engage with their son and help encourage and track his development. They are very excited to find the right person to welcome as a partner to their family and hope to forge a strong bond with their nanny long-term so the right candidate will be willing to commit to at least one full year with their family (ideally longer). A nanny who happens to speak Vietnamese or Mandarin would be a fabulous bonus too! Mom and dad are both architects who work hard, but who also love sports and staying active. They would love to find a nanny who shares their patient, calm caregiving approach, their appreciation for a flexible routine, and their love for getting their son out for walks and outings!

This position offers an hourly rate of $22-25/hr DOE, guaranteed full-time hours, overtime pay, paid time off, accrued sick time, and a negotiable healthcare stipend.

Position filled: laid-back infant nanny sought for happy baby boy

Position Filled: Congratulations Christina!

Our client family in WEST SEATTLE is seeking an experienced and loving full-time infant nanny for their baby boy, who will be 5 months old when the position begins. Beginning September 1st (or the last week of August), the schedule will start out as Tues-Fri 7am-4:30pm (34 hours) and then will grow to Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm (42.5 hours) by mid-October. They're looking for a commitment of at least 6-9 months, with the possibility to continue longer term into the future if it's a great all-around fit!

These new parents are looking for a nanny who is very confident and knowledgeable in all aspects of infant care, who will look forward to spending quality time with their son every day and who will engage with him in developmentally-appropriate activities and play. They'd love to connect with someone who will grow to feel like part of their family! They'll appreciate a nanny who has a flexible attitude and schedule, and who shares their laid-back personality and style. Most of all, they're looking for someone to love and nurture their son, and have lots of fun together!

This position will not require any driving with their son, but a candidate with their own reliable transportation for getting themselves to work each morning would be a nice bonus!

This family is pleased to offer a rate of $20-25/hour DOE, overtime pay, guaranteed minimum hours, paid time off, and accrued sick time. Apply today!

position Filled: FULL TIME INFANT NANNY NEEDED FOR FAMILY OF 3

position Filled: Congratulations Hilda!

My CAPITOL HILL clients are seeking full-time care for their baby boy beginning as soon as they connect with the right fit! Their son was born 3 months early, so though he's technically 8 months old his developmental/adjusted age is 5 months and he is a growing, healthy boy!

Mom is a doctor with a slightly variable schedule but they can commit to consistent hours overall. Their coverage needs are 8am-5:30 M-F for a total of 47.5 hours per week, though mom's call schedule does mean that their nanny will receive occasional Tuesdays off! They're happy to guarantee a minimum of 40 hours each week regardless and also offer paid time off, paid holidays and accrued sick time.

Mom and dad describe their ideal nanny as someone with infant care experience, a very nurturing approach, a cheerful/sunny personality, and strong communication skills. He or she should be very confident caring for the needs of a young infant, and ideally will have an interest or knowledge in child development.  A candidate who happens to be bi-lingual would be a nice bonus, but definitely not required!

This family lives in a very walkable area of residential Capitol Hill, so no driving is required at this time. While it would be a nice bonus to hire a nanny who drives and has her own vehicle, they are totally open to hiring a qualified candidate who commutes via other means! All candidates MUST be cat-friendly (they have a friendly indoor kitty) as well as fully vaccinated and TB negative.

This position offers a wage of $22/hour + overtime pay, paid time off, paid holidays, accrued sick time and guaranteed full time hours. Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: professional, flexible, full-charge supernanny needed for busy toddler boy

position filled: Congratulations Katie!

Our wonderful returning clients in MADRONA are seeking a professional, loving full-time nanny for their 14-month-old son beginning in August. The schedule may vary a bit depending on the parent's schedules and travel, but it is generally 50 hours per week, worked either Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm OR Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Their nanny MUST have the flexibility to travel with the family with relative frequency (typically about 1x/month for several days at a time), and the ability to offer occasional home overnight or weekend coverage is appreciated.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a calm & warm personality, experience with both infants and older children, a somewhat flexible schedule, a great attitude, solid communication skills and the desire to grow with a family long term--they'd love to partner with this person for several years if it's a great fit. Theirs is a fully staffed home, and this nanny will be the full-time "anchor" on a team of caregivers, so the right person for this job will be comfortable working in a household with a lot of moving parts! Some driving will be required, so all candidates must have a valid license and a responsible driving history; a family vehicle will be provided for on-the-job use.

Their little guy will be the primary focus of this position, but his 3 older siblings (an 8 year-old & 12 year-old twins) also live at the home part-time time. They are generally self-sufficient but their nanny may be responsible for supervising the 8 year old or driving the twins somewhere--for this reason, their nanny should have experience with kiddos of all ages and feel comfortable managing the needs of multiple busy children at once. This family also has small dogs, so it's also important that their nanny is pooch-friendly! Lastly, since they live near the water and have a swimming pool at their home  it's absolutely necessary that their nanny be a confident swimmer and comfortable supervising children in/near water.

This position will require somewhat frequent travel with the family, so their ideal candidate will have experience traveling with prior nanny families. He or she should have a valid passport, and the flexibility to travel about 1x/ month (more frequently during the summers).

This position offers top pay ($25+/hourly) commensurate with experience, guaranteed hours, overtime pay, paid time off, paid holidays, paid travel opportunities, accrued sick time and a generous health insurance stipend. Apply today!

position filled: Afternoon Nanny/Family Assistant Starting August

Position Filled: Congratulations Alli! :)

Two busy working parents in MONTLAKE are seeking the right person to become an integral part of their family team as an after-school nanny starting in early August! Their core scheduling needs are Monday-Friday 1-6:00pm, though some flexibility to accommodate occasional scheduling flux would be greatly appreciated.

Their two children (9 & 7) attend school just a few blocks from home. They need an enthusiastic, organized, fun-loving after-school companion to supervise their after-school routine, prepare healthy snacks, and drive them to activities. Their son is a sports fan, and their daughter a lover of arts & crafts, so a nanny who can engage each of them individually with their unique interests will be a hit! Mom and dad want to hire a nanny who will not only take awesome care of the kids, but who can also help their home run efficiently; in addition to the childcare responsibilities of this role, they will lean on their nanny for help with grocery shopping, occasional errands, and simple dinner prep. Their ideal match will have some experience both in school-age childcare/teaching AND in household management, but they are more concerned about finding a candidate who is the right personality match than someone with a perfect resume.

This family has enjoyed great relationships with their previous nannies and invites any potential candidates to speak with their current nanny as a reference! In their own words,

"We view this role as an integral part of our family team, helping provide consistency and care for the kids and helping manage our household, ultimately enabling us to spend more quality time as a family. While we have high expectations for this person and their level of care for our kids and our family, we can’t stress enough how much we value this person and strive to take very good care of them, in return."

This family enjoyed several years with their last nanny, and they hope to forge another long-term relationship with the next person that they welcome into their family! Please be available to make a commitment of at least one full year.

This position does require some driving, so their nanny must have a reliable, insured vehicle with room for at least two child passengers. This family has a sweet 11-year-old dog as well, so please be pooch-friendly!

Pay will be $22-25  per hour DOE.

Position Filled: Part-Time Loving Nanny Needed for Baby Boy in Bryant

POSITION FILLED: Congrats Laura!

Our newest clients in NORTH SEATTLE (Bryant) are seeking the right part-time caregiver for their one-year-old son beginning in early July. This family needs approximately 20-25 hours per week of care; their ideal schedule would be 4-5 hrs/day M-F during the summer, but they are flexible to do 3 longer days per week as well depending on the availability of their nanny.

Their son will begin attending daycare 3x/week in September, on Mondays/Tuesdays/Fridays starting September 4th. From then onward, they'll need care on Wednesdays and Thursdays and can offer a third day of work over the weekends if their nanny is interested in more hours; They are happy to guarantee an agreed-upon minimum of hours and are willing to be flexible for the right match!

Their son has developed a bit of an oral aversion (likely from experiencing bad reflux as a baby), which can make feeding him challenging at times, but they're working with a therapist and just need their nanny to be on board with trying different strategies and communicating about what is/is not working for him. Mom says that sometimes it requires some creative effort to get him to eat, so a nanny who is dedicated, animated, non-judgmental and patient will be key in his success! Beyond that, he's a sweet, curious, cautious little guy who loves books and spending time outside so their nanny should be ready to enjoy lots of walks in the baby carrier! :)

Mom describes their dream nanny as someone who is engaged, upbeat, patient, and flexible with a true heart for working with little ones. He or she should have plenty of positive energy and a great attitude; someone who looks forward to coming to work every day and spending time with their son is a must! They want to partner with a nanny who will be an enthusiastic teammate to mom and dad as well as a fun-loving, caring companion for their baby boy. Their nanny should be super responsible, have excellent judgement, be engaging and nurturing; the right nanny for their family will be attentive, loving and affectionate with their son and they look forward to developing a strong long-term relationship with the right person! They do also have a large mellow dog, so all candidates must be dog-friendly.

This family is pleased to offer $20-28+/hr DOE, guaranteed minimum hours, paid time off, paid holidays, accrued sick time and a negotiable healthcare stipend.  Apply today for immediate consideration!

position Filled: FT Nanny Needed for Sweet Baby Boy

Position Filled: Congratulations Maria!

Westside Nanny's newest North-end clients in LYNNWOOD (near the Edmonds border) are seeking an experienced, reliable, and loving nanny for their baby boy beginning June 24th. Their son is a happy, healthy, growing boy and they hope to find the right person to care for him long term.

Mom and dad both work full-time in the city, but mom will be working from home one day per week, so their core scheduling needs are 7am-5:30pm 4 days per week + 9am-5pm 1 day per week for a total of approximately 49 hours per week (40 guaranteed).

The right nanny for this job will have a flexible, relaxed approach and a calm disposition coupled with an outgoing and playful personality. He or she should be organized and development-minded, and have the ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate activities and outings for their son, as well as help maintain healthy routines for him in regards to sleep, eating, etc. Mom currently attends library story time and weekly baby class with him and would love for their nanny to keep taking him once she returns to work! This family will connect best with a nanny who has a warm and friendly personality, who is down to earth and fun-loving, and who is a confident communicator. They currently cloth diaper and want to continue, so it's important to them that their nanny be comfortable with this! Lastly, candidate who can expose their son to a second language would be a big plus, but is not required.

This position will be childcare-focused, but they will appreciate a hand with light child-related housekeeping tasks such as washing bottles, baby laundry, tidying toys and restocking supplies. Driving is required (mom and dad hope their nanny will take their son to parks, classes, etc), so all qualified candidates must have a license and a reliable vehicle that can accommodate a carseat. This family also has a sweet 8-month-old bull terrier mix so their nanny must be dog-friendly!

Pay will be DOE, $15-20/hour with guaranteed full-time hours, overtime pay (1.5x), accrued sick time, paid time off, paid holidays, and mileage reimbursement. Apply today!

Position Filled: Full TIme + Overtime Nanny Needed for Busy 2 Year old

Position Filled: Congratulations Angela!

Our newest Eastside clients need full-time care for their 2-year old son at their home in KIRKLAND beginning July 1st. Their scheduling needs total 47.5 hours per week: from 8am-5:30 Monday-Friday. They also have a 4-year-old daughter who attends school full-time (mom and dad take her to/from school also); their nanny will be almost exclusively responsible for their son with the exception of an occasional day when their daughter doesn't have school or stays home sick.

Their son is a healthy, happy boy. He's about to begin potty training, so a nanny who has experience potty training little boys would be a nice bonus! He's also slightly speech-delayed but is catching up quickly with therapy. He participates in classes like Little Gym, and they'd love for their nanny to seek out other opportunities for him to learn and experience new things. Overall, he's a sweet little guy who loves people and they're excited for him to get to know his new nanny buddy!

Mom describes their ideal match as a career nanny who has many years of professional experience and a passion for working with children. She should be mature, warm, loving, and very development-minded. She should be detail-oriented, organized, and good at planning ahead (do you pack a jacket and an extra snack "just in case" even on a sunny day? this might be the job for you!). Above all, they want someone who will truly invest themselves in their son, nurture his development and be an enthusiastic teammate to mom and dad.

As it stands, this job doesn't require any extra household management outside of standard child-centered tasks (kid dishes/laundry/tidying/etc), though mom says she can offer some household management responsibilities (and, consequently, higher pay) if the right person is interested in expanding the job description a bit. It's also very important to them that their nanny be willing to prepare real meals for their son; the recipes are simple but go beyond the toddler standard of assembling cheese and crackers on a plate :)

This position will require driving so all candidates must have their own reliable, kid-friendly vehicle as well as a responsible driving history and full-coverage insurance.

This family is pleased to offer a rate of $25+/hour DOE, guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid holidays, and accrued sick time. Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: Flexible, Loving Nanny for Newborn Boy Starts ASAP!

My newest Eastside clients are seeking an experienced and loving nanny for their 10 week old baby boy at their home in REDMOND beginning as soon as they meet the right fit! They are happy to offer anywhere from 25 to 35+ hours per week and the schedule itself is somewhat flexible, though they hope to stick to a start time of ~8:00am.

Mom describes their perfect nanny match as someone with infant experience, a confident but relaxed caregiving style, and knowledge of best practices for sleep/development/safety. He or she should have a mature but fun loving personality, be communicative and warm, reliable, organized and flexible. A background in healthcare would be a nice bonus. Someone with flexibility to travel with the family is preferred as well! They hope that their nanny will ultimately become a true extension of their village and will grow with their family long term.

Mom is a SAHM, but is fairly busy and most of the time will be out of the way, if not out of the house. She totally supports her nanny's need for autonomy in her position, and is committed to giving plenty of space and respecting boundaries while she's in the home but their nanny will need to be comfortable with this arrangement!

This family has a weekly housekeeper, so no cleaning duties are expected beyond light baby-related tasks like washing bottles, tidying toys, or washing his laundry.  Because this position does require driving, all applicants must have their own baby-friendly vehicle, a responsible driving history, and insurance. Their family also has 2 cats and 2 small dogs, so their nanny must be pet-friendly!

This family is pleased to offer an hourly rate of $25-30+/hour DOE, Guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, and a negotiable healthcare stipend. Apply today!

This family has two daughters who are 8 & 5. Both girls are super bright, creative and all-around delightful but their eldest has recently been diagnosed as being on the spectrum and struggling with some anxiety. Their ideal nanny will enjoy engaging with the twins and have the energy to keep up with the needs of two babies, but who will also have a calm and nurturing approach.  They look forward to working with a nanny who values communication as much as they do; they'd love updates and pictures of your time with the twins during the day so if you're an enthusiastic communicator you'll be a great match for these parents! They also use an app to track things like feeding & sleep patterns, so a candidate who is comfortable with technology will be the best fit. A nanny who has knowledge and/or experience with the Love & Logic philosophy would be a nice bonus!

This family does have a friendly 50 lb. dog; he adores people and is very well-trained but their nanny should definitely be pooch-friendly! He'll require being let out to go potty, and minimal attention throughout the day as he's still a 1.5 year old pup. He'd love to tag along on your walks with the kiddos as well, once the weather gets nicer!

This position doesn't currently require any on-the-job driving, but there could be a need for this in the future so successful candidates should have their own reliable kid-friendly transportation, and a safe driving history. This is a childcare-centered position, but their nanny should be happy to lend a hand with light housekeeping (washing dishes/bottles, laundry, tidying up) and potentially some simple meal prep during naps, as time allows. Great time management skills and a proactive, positive "can-do" attitude are a must!

Pay will be $20-23/hour DOE and will include guaranteed hours, paid time off, accrued sick time, and paid holidays. Apply today!"

POSItION FILLED: **TEMPORARY** May-July part-time nanny for sweet baby girl

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATS KELSI!

My newest clients in CROWN HILL are seeking TEMPORARY part-time care for their baby girl from May 7th-July 10th while they bridge the gap between mom returning to work and daycare opening a spot for their daughter. They can offer approximately 26 hours per week;  their ideal schedule would be full days Tues/Thurs (8:30-6:30pm) and a half-day Weds (12:30-6:30pm) though they do have a little flexibility should the right person come along with different availability!

Mom and dad are focused on finding a nanny who is loving and dependable, and who will enjoy spending their time giving lots of snuggles to their baby girl! Their priority is to connect with a caregiver who can help them maintain their daughters general routine, who will encourage healthy sleep habits (napping at home instead of in the stroller, for example), and who will of course keep their daughter safe, happy & engaged. A nanny who would enjoy getting out for walks, reading baby books on the play mat, singing, playing peekaboo, and doing tummy time will be very happy in this position :)

Though this is a temporary position, mom and dad would love to develop a relationship with this nanny for occasional sitting and date night coverage in the future!

This family is pleased to offer a rate of $20-25/hour DOE.

POSITION FILLED: Monday/Wednesday Nanny Needed for Adventurous 5-year old!

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATIONS KATIE!

My newest QUEEN ANNE clients are seeking a super reliable, energetic and engaging part-time nanny to spend Monday & Wednesday from 1:30-8:30 (1pm-8:30 during school breaks) with their 5-year-old daughter beginning as soon as possible! They anticipate a commitment of at least until the start of the 2019-2020 school year though there is the possibility of extending things further into the future with a slight shift in hours once their daughter enters kindergarten.

Their little girl is bright, curious, energetic and social; she loves art projects, games & puzzles, and playdates with friends at the park! Since she attends preschool in the mornings, a nanny's day will begin with picking her up at 1:30pm. From there, the day is yours to plan outings, play dates, projects and activities; Mom and dad encourage getting out and about, and trying new things! In addition to school pickup and planning a fun afternoon together, their nanny will also be responsible for preparing a nutritious meal for their daughter as well as helping with the pre-bedtime routine until mom & dad arrive home from work at 8:30.

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible, caring & attentive, super reliable and have great time management skills. She should enjoy planning outings and playdates, have the energy to keep up with a busy 5-year-old and value active engagement with their daughter. Someone who understands Positive Discipline, who can maintain boundaries in a firm but loving way, and who values respect, kindness and expressing caring & emotion will be a great match for this family's parenting style. A nanny who has special skills or interests to share (such as music, sports or the arts) would be a big plus!

This position is childcare-centered but mom and dad will appreciate a hand with laundry, some very light housekeeping (tidying up the kitchen, putting toys away) and perhaps the occasional grocery run! A nanny who has a positive, 'can do' attitude will be the best fit for this position! Cooking skills would be an extra bonus as well! :)

This family does live in a super walkable part of Queen Anne and school is also walking distance from home, so no car or driving is required though a vehicle would be a major plus for getting out for the occasional errand, or extra special adventures together.

This family has enjoyed great relationships with previous nannies and are looking forward to welcoming a new person into their circle. They are pleased to offer a competitive rate of $22-30/hour depending on experience & skills, plus guaranteed hours, accrued sick time and paid time off!

POSITION FILLED: FLEXIBLE PART-TIME INFANT NANNY NEEDED FOR SWEET BABY BOY

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATIONS RYAN!

Our client in MADRONA is seeking a loving part-time nanny for their 10-month-old baby boy beginning as soon as possible! The schedule will vary a bit from week to week, but will be roughly 15-20 hours per week depending on their nanny's availability.

Right now their coverage needs are:

1. 1  weekend shift per week (7am-7pm)

2. 1-2 evening shifts per week  (4pm-10pm)

3. Occasional overnight shifts, 1-2x/month (10pm-8am)

The ideal candidate for this position will have a calm & warm personality, experience with both infants and older children, a somewhat flexible schedule, a great attitude, and the desire to work part-time long-term--they'd love to partner with a nanny for several years if it's a great fit. Theirs is a fully staffed home, so their nanny should be comfortable working in a home with a lot of moving parts! Some driving will be required, so all candidates must have a valid license and a responsible driving history;  a family vehicle will be provided for on-the-job use. Their infant son will be the primary focus of this position, but his 3 older siblings (an 8 year-old & 12 year-old twins) also live at the home half time. They are generally self-sufficient but their nanny may occasionally be asked to supervise the 8 year old or drive the twins somewhere--for this reason, their nanny should have experience with kiddos of all ages and feel comfortable managing the needs of multiple children at once. This family has small dogs, so it's also important that their nanny is pooch-friendly! Lastly, since they live near the water and have a swimming pool at their home  it's absolutely necessary that their nanny be a confident swimmer and comfortable supervising children in/near water.

This position offers a guarantee of at least 15 hours per week, TOP pay ($24-30/hour), and accrued sick time. Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: 34 Hrs/Wk Morning + Afternoon Nanny for 4 Busy Sisters!

POSITION FILLED: Congratulations Rae'Anne!

Our clients in BURIEN are seeking 34 hours/week of care for their four daughters who are 5, 5, 9 & 9 (that's right, two sets of twins!). Start date is somewhat flexible as their current nanny is available to stay with them until they find her replacement, but the sooner the right person comes along the better!

Their scheduling needs are:

Monday:   7:00-11:00AM + 2:00-6:00pm (8 hrs)

Tuesday:  7:00-10 am + 2:00-6:00pm (7 hrs)

Wednesday:  7:00-10 + 1:00-6:00pm (8 hrs)

Thursday:  7:00-10:00 + 2:00-6:00pm (7 hrs)

Friday:  7:00-11:00 am (4 hrs)

...for a grand total of 34 hours per week + occasional additional hours available during school breaks, etc.  They'll also need someone with flexibility to work later hours when one parent is traveling for work, or offer date night sitting on occasion.

Mom describes their ideal nanny match as someone who is mature, organized, completely reliable, fun-loving, energetic, honest, and a great role model for their girls. Their nanny will be responsible for getting them ready for the day, school dropoffs/pickups, driving to activities & appointments, helping with homework, and running occasional local child-related errands. It's important to them that their nanny be a strong swimmer, and someone with a musical background who could help with piano practice would be a big bonus as well! Their girls are bright, sweet, and active--they really need a nanny who will be eager to engage with all 4 of them and who can balance their individual needs. Two of their girls need a little extra help focusing when it's time for homework, so a patient nanny with a tutoring or education background would be a major plus for this family! They'll also lean on their nanny for some household support including tidying up, home organization, errands, grocery shopping and simple (healthy) nightly meal prep.

This position does require quite a bit of driving so all candidates must have a license and a responsible driving history. A family minivan will be provided for on-the-job use! This family also has a 12-week-old puppy, so their nanny should be pooch-friendly :)

Pay will be $24-25/hour DOE, and this family is happy to offer guaranteed hours, 2 weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, and accrued sick leave. They are experienced long-term nanny employers and are looking forward to growing with their next great match for at least the next year, hopefully beyond!

POSITION FILLED: 20-25 Hrs Energetic Morning Nanny for 2 Fun-Loving Brothers

POSITION FILLED: Congratulations Julie!

Our clients are seeking a caring, energetic, active nanny to care for their two busy boys at their home in LAKE FOREST PARK beginning as soon as they find the right fit.. They're Arizona transplants without family nearby, and they're looking forward to being able to lean on their nanny as a valued member of their village!

Their needs are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6am-10am plus a weekly Thursday, Friday or Saturday date night for a total of approximately 20-25/hours per week. Their nanny will be responsible for getting the boys up and ready for their day, dropping the boys at school (one within walking distance, the other driving distance), and lending a hand with prepping lunches, doing laundry and dishes, and light tidying up around the house. This family could also potentially offer a few extra hours per week if their nanny is also interested in taking on additional housekeeping responsibilities.

Their boys are 6 & 9 years old and are B-U-S-Y; they have lots of energy and love to play, create, and explore so their nanny will need to be ready for a fast-paced morning! The boys need a nanny who can not only keep up with their energy, but who can also provide structure and keep them on task while getting ready for the day and off to school; someone who can lead them with a firm but fun approach will be the best match for these two! This position will involve on-the-job driving with the boys. Qualified candidates will have their own reliable, kid-friendly vehicle and a responsible driving history.

Mom and dad describe their ideal candidate as patient, kind, affectionate, high energy, and creative. Experience working with school-aged children (even better if you have experience with high-energy school-aged boys!) would be a plus, and a background in education is highly desirable.  Since they see their nanny as a valued partner, they want to hire someone who is a strong communicator and who will be comfortable engaging both with the boys and the parents; exchanging ideas, concerns, or other feedback openly and honestly! A commitment to healthy choices and nutritious foods for the boys is also important to them. They look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with the right person and ask for a commitment of at least one year.

** This family does have a super friendly 6-year-old goldendoodle named Chewy, so their nanny must be dog-friendly! **

This position offers $20-23/hour DOE, guaranteed hours, sick days, paid holidays and paid vacation time. Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: EXPERIENCED INFANT NANNY FOR DARLING TWINS

POSITION FILLED: Congratulations Sam! :)

Devoted new parents in NEWCASTLE are excited to partner with a wonderful full-time nanny for their boy/girl twins, beginning as soon as they meet the right person! Mom returns to work in the first week of December so they anticipate a full-time start date as early as November 1, and as late as the last week of November. Their full-time schedule will ideally be 7am-3pm Monday-Friday, though they have a bit of flexibility to potentially do an 8-4pm shift if that works better for the right candidate. They hope their nanny may be able to offer them occasional date nights and/or weekend coverage on occasion as well!

Mom and dad look forward to finding a nanny who has experience caring for infants, working in a multiple-child household, and/or who has a background in ECE or child development; experience (or at least interest) in Montessori philosophy is strongly preferred! They strive to creative a fun, positive, and peaceful environment at home and want to connect with a candidate who fits well into that family dynamic. They'd love to work with someone who prioritizes active engagement and fresh air over screen time, and who will be invested in the twins' development and learning!

This family will require on-the-job driving. For this reason, a reliable child-friendly vehicle, a responsible driving record, and insurance are a must. This family also has two friendly mellow dogs who are great with the kids; their nanny will need to be comfortable working in a home with furry family members! It's also very important that their nanny be fully vaccinated.

This family asks for a commitment of at least one year, though they're hopeful that they'll get to love and grow with their "forever nanny" for many years to come!

POSITION FILLED: Afternoon Nanny + Meal Prep for Fun-Loving Sisters

POSITION FILLED: Congratulations Julie! :)

A busy family of 4 in WEDGWOOD/BRYANT is in search of a superstar nanny to care for their 6 & 8-year-old daughters and provide some family assistance including meal prep. Their coverage needs are 1:00-6:00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a total of 20 hours per week, though they can add up to 5 extra hours per week if their nanny is interested in housecleaning as well. During the summers and over school breaks, they could use up to full-time hours so a nanny with the flexibility to work part-time or full-time (temporarily) is ideal. Their current nanny is moving in mid-December, but they are flexible to begin working with someone new as soon as the right person comes along!

Mom and dad are experienced long-term nanny employers and look forward to welcoming another stellar partner into their family! They describe their ideal nanny match as someone who loves kids, is extremely reliable and responsible, has good time management, lives an active and healthy lifestyle, and enjoys cooking. Their girls are playful, active, and creative, so their nanny will need great energy for keeping up with them! They'd love to hire a nanny who speaks a second language, but this is not a requirement.

A typical day for their nanny will involve arriving at 1pm and tackling tasks such as running errands, grocery shopping, laundry, and meal planning. The girls get out of school at 2:25 (1:10 on Wednesdays), so their nanny will be responsible for school pickups and driving to after-school activities in the family car. In the evenings, their nanny will be responsible for making dinner for the girls and putting leftovers in the fridge for mom and dad. Their previous nanny has even prepared an entire cookbook of greatest-hits recipes for their new nanny to work with! Their ideal match will be someone who likes meal planning and who will genuinely enjoy cooking for the family.

Pay will be $20-22/hr DOE with potential for growth over time. They'd love to work with their next nanny long-term and request a commitment of at least one year!

POSITION FILLED AFTERNOON FAMILY ASSISTANT/NANNY FOR 3 BUSY BROTHERS!

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATIONS ERIN! :)

Busy working parents in VIEW RIDGE are in search of the right person to join their family as the afternoon nanny/assistant for their three boys, ages 5, 8 & 10. Their ideal schedule would be M-F 12:30-5:30pm for a total of 25 hours per week, though flexibility to occasionally work a date night or slightly expanded hours is much appreciated. During the summer their schedule may flex a bit between camps and other activities but this family is still happy to guarantee a minimum of 25 hours per week and can stick to a very similar schedule to the one they have during the school year if their nanny needs consistency. Their current nanny just gave her two weeks' notice after over a year together, so they're hoping to start with their next great fit on or before October 15th!

Their boys are active and imaginative, and enjoy the outdoors, science, creative arts, and building things. Mom describes the three of them as "one talker, one who's quiet, and one attention seeker" so a nanny who can balance their different needs, interests and personalities is a must! They want to meet someone who is skilled in positive discipline techniques, schedule-oriented, firm-but-fun, and active to keep up with her three new buddies. She should be a great communicator, super-punctual, and should enjoy fresh air as much as the boys do! They live a short walk from school so they'd love their nanny to WALK the boys home every day unless it's absolutely necessary to drive; a family car will be provided for all required on-the-job driving (to activities, errands etc). This family does have a cat in the home, so the right person should also be cat-friendly!

Mom and dad both work outside the home and will lean on the right person not only to provide engaged and active care for their boys but also to lend a helping hand with family assistance tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, running errands, and grocery shopping; they'd also appreciate help with simple family meal prep once or twice a week. Someone who is naturally tidy, proactive and organized, and who enjoys finding new ways to help a family's life run a little more smoothly will be successful in this role!

This family is pleased to offer $26-27/hour, guaranteed hours, paid time off, paid holidays and accrued paid sick time in addition to periodic bonuses. They have had great experiences with past nannies and look forward to growing with the right person long-term!

POSITION FILLED: PART TIME AFTERNOON NANNY/FAMILY ASSISTANT

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATIONS HANNAH!

Our clients MONTLAKE are looking for an active, engaged nanny for their three school-aged kiddos beginning ASAP! Their desired schedule is 2:30-6pm on Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri and 1:00-6pm on Wednesdays for a total of approximately 20 hours/week. If the right nanny is interested in building in a few extra hours, they're also open open to adding up to 5 additional hours of weekly family assistant work (grocery shopping, food prep, errands, etc) before school pickups!

Mom and dad describe their ideal nanny match as someone who is playful, active, fun-loving and responsible. Their kids love to play, do crafts, and spend time outside so they want to work with a nanny who will genuinely enjoy all of these things right along with them; a nanny who is creative and who won't depend on screens to entertain the kids is going to be the right fit for this job! They would also love to hire a nanny who speaks Spanish (their kids have taken a little Spanish already and they'd love to continue their learning!), but would consider a non-bilingual candidate who is an otherwise fantastic fit :)

All 3 of their children participate in soccer at the local community center, so their nanny will need to be organized to get everyone where they need to be at the right time! Since some driving is involved (school pickups, to/from soccer), their nanny will need her own reliable vehicle with room for 3 children. A responsible driving history and insurance are also a must!

This position pays $20-25/hour DOE and starts as soon as they find the right fit!

Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: FULL TIME ADVENTURE NANNY FOR SWEET TODDLER GIRL

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATUONS MICHELE!

Our returning clients in CAPITOL HILL are seeking the perfect nanny match for their little girl who will be 2 years old in December. They want to connect with the right person, not just the "right now" person, so they're willing to be flexible about their start date; as soon as right away, as late as early 2019. Their coverage needs are roughly 7:15am-5:15pm Monday-Friday, for a total of 50 hours per week.

Mom and dad both work full time outside the home, so they trust their nanny to manage all aspects of their daughter's daily routine and care; their nanny should have good time management skills to make sure they're staying consistent to their daughter's routine but also the flexibility to accommodate when life happens. They'd love to partner with a nanny who will prioritize learning experiences and exploration; their daughter loves to be out and about and will enjoy checking out the aquarium, the zoo, local parks, the library, kid's classes, or whatever other fun activity you can dream up! Theirs is an active family so a nanny who shares a love for the outdoors is a must. Their daughter is curious, playful, and independent and they hope their nanny will continue to encourage her growth and development through outings, projects, arts, reading and pretend play. A nanny who has a warm, loving personality and lots of hugs to share with their little one is the perfect match for this family!

This family does live in a central and walkable neighborhood of Capitol Hill, but they need a nanny with her own kid-friendly vehicle for getting around the city (insurance and a responsible driving record are also a must!). This family also has a large, very sweet dog who doesn't require much care but who will definitely enjoy your company, so their nanny needs to be a dog lover as well :) They have enjoyed nearly two years with their current nanny and ask for a commitment of at least one year, though they'd love to grow together for many years to come!

Pay will be $20/hour DOE and will include guaranteed hours, overtime, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and a negotiable healthcare stipend. Apply today for this dream job!

POSITION FILLED: Infant Specialist for Newborn Twins (Temp-to-Permanent)

POSITION FILLED: Congratulations Emersen!

Excited parents-to-be in MERCER ISLAND are seeking a flexible, experienced temporary newborn nanny/NCS for their twin baby girls who are expected to arrive in late October 2018!

Mom and dad describe their ideal match as someone who has extensive newborn experience, ideally experience working with newborn twins. She should be extremely knowledgable in all aspects of infant care and maternal support; a candidate who has raised her own babies and/or who has experience as a postpartum doula or NCS would be an asset to this family. They'd love to hire a nanny who is comfortable supporting and educating both parents as they settle into their new normal; aside from taking exceptional care of the girls, they'd love help with breastfeeding support, developing healthy sleep routines (for babies AND for parents!), tracking growth and developmental milestones, etc.  Someone who is naturally intuitive about when to lend a hand and when to give new parents space to learn and experience things for themselves will be greatly appreciated by this family. The best match for them will be a nanny who is warm, communicative, respectful, and of course someone who truly LOVES working with new babies and new parents!

Their scheduling needs are a little up in the air at this time, as they're not 100% certain of exactly what their needs will look like when they bring the girls home. For this reason, they're remaining flexible to offer full-time hours compatible with their nanny's availability. Ideally they'd like a mix of daytime AND nighttime help for the first 2-3 weeks at home, followed by 3-4 weeks of overnights. Their girls are due October 26th, but of course as with any twin pregnancy they may arrive ahead of schedule so a nanny with the flexibility to jump right in as soon as they're home will be important to this family! Mom and dad are even open to the possibility of bringing on the right person for a handful of hours in the weeks leading up to their birth to help them prepare their home/nursery and generally just provide support to mama as she nears final stretch of her pregnancy.

Both parents speak English and Brazilian Portuguese; a nanny who happens to speak Portuguese would be a great bonus but is by no means a requirement! Fluent English is a must.

This position is currently temporary as mom and dad are focused on getting through the first weeks & months of twin parenthood. However, they ARE interested in the possibility of hiring on a full-time daytime nanny in 2019; for the right candidate, this position could certainly turn into a longer-term arrangement! They also have considered hiring a live-in nanny, if the right candidate is interested.

No driving will be required for this position, but because their home is not well serviced by public transport, a nanny must have her own reliable vehicle for getting herself to/from work.

Pay will be $23-30/hour DOE.

POSITION FILLED: 4 Days/Week Nanny Pro Needed for Sweet Infant & Toddler Boys!

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATIONS EMILEE!

Their much-beloved nanny has unfortunately broken her ankle and is unable to return to work, so our lovely returning WOODINVILLE client family with two sweet little boys (ages 5 months and 2.5 years) is looking for an equally wonderful nanny to fill her shoes starting ASAP! They are lining up some temporary options to buy them some time to search for the right fit, but the sooner they can connect with their perfect match the better!

Their core coverage needs are Tuesday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm for a total of 32 hours per week (guaranteed), though they'd appreciate a nanny with flexibility to cover the occasional earlier morning or a date night here and there. Right now they need a commitment through the end of the school year, though they hope to continue longer term if it's really great fit!

This family has enjoyed an exceptionally wonderful relationship with their nanny for the last 9 months and are so sad that her injury is preventing her from continuing work with them. With that in mind, they're very hopeful that they'll be lucky enough to connect with someone new who will fit in just as well with their family! Mom and dad describe their ideal nanny match as warm, confident, professional, and rock-solid reliable. She should be nurturing, creative, not afraid to be silly, and have boundless energy to keep up with the needs of their busy boys. This family practices positive parenting and hopes to find a nanny who will share their approach and values. A background in child development is big a plus, and experience with both infants & toddlers is a MUST!

This position does require driving, so their nanny must have a safe child-friendly vehicle along with a responsible driving history and insurance. Their nanny also must be comfortable with a (mellow, elderly, keeps-to-herself) cat in the home!

This family is pleased to offer $27/hour + Guaranteed Hours, 2 Weeks of Vacation, Accrued Sick Time, and Mileage Reimbursement. Apply today!

POSITION FILLED: Confident, Communicative, Creative Full-Time Nanny for Twin Toddlers

POSITION FILLED: CONGRATULATIONS RUMYR!

Our wonderful returning clients in LYNNWOOD are looking for their perfect nanny match to provide full-time care for their 2-year-old twin boys beginning in mid-October (no later than October 15). They need help Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm, though they'd appreciate flexibility to tack on earlier starts (7:30am) or later end times (5pm) once in a while, as well as occasional date nights depending on their nanny's availability. They are happy to guarantee 40 hours per week and pay overtime rate for any additional hours worked!

Mom and dad want to hire someone who will become a true extension of their family and who will be a valued teammate in the care of their boys! They are seeking candidates with solid age-group experience (ideally with twins), lots of patience for managing two 2-year-olds, an engaged and active caregiving style, great communication skills, and a sunny personality. Their nanny should be very reliable, be confident caring for two children at once, and have a easygoing and flexible approach while still prioritizing the boys' safety and development; the boys are definitely TWO in a big way right now so they need an unflappable nanny who can be firm and who has experience working through behavioral challenges in toddlers. Experience with mild special needs or therapy/play therapy would be a plus! It's very important to them that their nanny be completely comfortable communicating not only about the boys' day-to-day activities, but also providing meaningful feedback to ensure that everyone remains on the same page. They really value their nanny and want to be sure she always feels valued, appreciated and supported in the important role she serves within their family!

Though they're twins, the boys each are unique and they hope their nanny will be sensitive to the differences in their personalities! This family values education and would love to consider candidates with a background in ECE, child development, preschool teaching, or even curriculum-based daycare. Twins experience would be a major plus too! Childcare will be the primary focus of this position, but help with some light kid-related housekeeping (boy's laundry, tidying up toys, washing dishes) is appreciated. They'd also like to find a nanny who can prepare simple but nutritious meals and snacks for the twins.

Mom and dad both work from home most days, in private home offices. They'll be out of sight the majority of the time--they may occasionally pop into the kitchen or even join you for lunchtime-- but their nanny will need to be comfortable with them being around!

A family car will be provided for on-the-job driving; they hope their nanny will be just as comfortable with getting the boys out and about on nice days as she is being creative and spending time around the house during the Winter months.  A responsible driving record is a must!

This family is happy to offer $20-24/hour DOE, guaranteed full-time hours, paid overtime, paid holidays and sick time, generous paid time off, and a negotiable healthcare stipend.

They'd love to grow with their next nanny long-term and ask for a commitment of at least one year.
